It's 1972. The world is gorgeous and glam with Ziggy Stardust and Bloody Sunday and picture from Mars and the horror of Vietnam and Space Hoppers and Watergate and the Munich Olympics and legal cannabis in the Netherland and the last man to walk on the moon...

...and sex.

There's always sex.

HumDrum return to The Spring with The Wardrobe Ensemble's heart-warming and devastating 1972: The Future of Sex in which the polyester-clad youth of the Seventies, drenched in a soundtrack of the period, reconcile who they are with the world around them and experience sex for the first time. Having the time of your life, particularly in an era of sausage casserole, Angel Delight, and home-knitted pullovers is not always quite what it's cracked up to be.

No nudity - much baring of souls!
