The Hollow

1946…

The war is over. England is beginning to throw off the memory of that dark time and basks in the end of a long, hot summer.

Sir Henry and Lady Angkatell decide it is the perfect time to invite friends and family for a gathering at their country house, The Hollow, for a long weekend of walking and talking and eating and drinking and laughing. And dying.

For someone is planning to add murder to the agenda.

One of the Angkatells’ guests has a very good reason for wanting another of their number dead – and they’ll stop at nothing to achieve their aim.

And anyone who discovers their dark secret needs must be on their guard, too…

The Hollow is HumDrum’s fourth outing into the ever-popular world of Agatha Christie and demonstrates, once again, Mrs Christie’s rapier-sharp ability to conspire, deceive and, above all, to entertain.
