The Adventures of a Bear Called Paddington

In 1958, writer Michael Bond created one of children's literature's perennial favourites - Paddington Bear.

Now, some fifty-three years later, Paddington is still as popular as ever (the most recent novel was published in 2008) - so it's only right that HumDrum should bring the bear from Darkest Peru to The Spring for this year's Christmas family entertainment!

Adapted by playwright Alfred Bradley from Michael Bond's stories and with songs written specially for the show, The Adventures of a Bear Called Paddington brings to life Mr and Mrs Brown, Judy and Jonathan, Mrs Bird, Mr Gruber, Mr Curry and - of course! - the innocent, accident-prone Paddington himself, in a piece that will appeal to fans old and new, young and old.

So bring the whole family along to The Spring this festive season for a fantastic, fun-filled time!
